There are a few easy steps to demonstrate that you have met the requirements for reimbursement:
- Use Stratus EMR to record patient demographics, document your treatment, send prescriptions, etc.
- Go to https://ehrincentives.cms.gov/hitech/login.action and register for the EHR incentive program.
- Once you are registered, you will have to attest that you have met the requirements for meaningful use. You can also do that at https://ehrincentives.cms.gov/hitech/login.action. Stratus EMR has a built-in report to help demonstrate that you met the requirements. To access that report, go to the "admin" menu in Stratus EMR and select the option for "download measure calculations." Once you've downloaded the report, you can view it in Excel. (Note that in the standard Stratus EMR setup you need to have admin privileges to access this report.)
- Be sure to register and attest your meaningful use for all the eligible providers in your practice.
