Can I send an appointment reminder to a patient via text message?

Yes, you can set up automatic text appointment reminders in the EMR. Please send an email to to let us know that you'd like this feature enabled and we'll set that up for you. Once enabled, follow the simple steps below for any patient who would like to receive a text reminder. 


Text reminders are sent to the patient the day prior to their visit scheduled in the calendar.


Please note: if your patient has an appointment scheduled within 48 hours after you've first enabled their text appointment reminder option, they may need to wait until a later visit to receive their first text reminder.
