What causes this error: The provider has used invalid characters in the Verizon password.
The fix: The provider must log into Verizon and change their password. The only acceptable special characters are:
! @ # $ % ^ * ( ) _ + { } | [ ] \ : ; ? . /
Any other characters should be avoided. Once the password is updated, the provider must re-sign the Subscriber Agreement and wait for the Certificate to be reissued, which in this case, this happens in about a half an hour, which is confirmed in an email from Verizon.
